We will RV in Oslo Airport on the 29th at 1100hrs from here we will collect our transport and head for the Dalsland region of Sweden near the Norwegian boarder (about 3 hrs) calling into a supermarket so you can stock up on breakfast/lunch for your canoe expedition. Once we arrive at our start point you will collect your canoes and equipment, we will spend the first evening covering the safety and basics of the expedition ahead before we depart the next morning.

On the 8th we pack your kit up and head off on a 7 day fully guided Canoe and Bushcraft expedition. We will cover all aspects of the canoe journey from top class canoe coaching including traditional techniques such as poling, lining and sailing from our resident Level 5 BCU Coach Jules Burnard. We will also cover camp craft, fire lighting, safe tool use, carving, food preparation, fishing and a whole host of expedition skills that will enable your to continue your development in expedition travel. Throughout the canoe expedition we'll be staying at wild Bivvy sites across a huge system of lakes. We are very lucky that at this time of year we are totally alone in this wilderness. for your benefit we have access to composting toilets and fire pits at all the Bivvy sites we will use adding a small element of luxury to our expedition.

You do not need any prior paddling or campcraft knowledge we will provide you will all the skills you need to journey by traditional canoe.

The camp locations have ample room for ground shelters or tents and naturally there are endless possibilities for hammock camping!

Once we return to our start/finish point we will spend a final night on the camp location to pack up our gear before we head into Oslo for our personal flights back to the UK on the 7th of May.

This is another great addition to our "Journey by hammock" Expeditions
